Hey, I’m Sam. I knit a lot and I live in Arkansas, where the heat gets dense as hell in the summertime. So many yarns and knitting patterns out there are beautiful and exquisite, but because they are designed for cooler climates, they are only wearable for about 2 weeks out of the year down here. One of my favorite things about knitting is its practicality, and I gotta say, it’s a total bummer to invest a ton of time and money into a project and never be able to wear it due to weather.
I started this blog to share my warm-weather patterns with ya’ll who know this feeling well. Because I design for myself, some of the patterns have only one size (mine– a women’s smal-ish medium). Others come in multiple sizes. I try to give suggestions for modifications for every pattern. You can access all my patterns for free here on my blog (obvs), and some have a PDF version availalbe on my Ravelry shop.
Please note that these patterns are not tested by others. I try my best to get it right and create clear instructions, however if you notice any errors or have questions, please, please reach out to me!
Happy knitting! ❤
